Life Force, Art, Technology and (Digging) Crystals | In Conversation with David Hults (Part 1)

Much is edited out in this first part of a December 2, 2020, conversation with David Hults of Alternative Life Guide due to our recording setting canceling out barking and aircraft while also silencing us.

Part 2 — “Energy, Consciousness, Psychology & Inner Work | In Conversation with David Hults”

The raw unedited YouTube transcription of this podcast:

[Music]

today we have

josh tiphold of integrating presents my

name is david holtz of the alternative

life guide

and we’re here to talk about a myriad of

subjects

including crystals empowerment

and we’re going to start off with a real

base point of things that should be

public yeah we’re just in dave’s davis

backyard

the second of december yep 2020

and it’s a little chilly out but sun’s

shining and whatnot and

i think the the main thing we got here

to get the conversation going is um

david’s recent trip to arkansas um we’re

both um we’re both into

really similar subjects one thing we

connect on and we can show today

is um arkansas courts quartz crystals

from arkansas

so i haven’t really i just heard a

little bit about david’s trip

maybe that might be a good good place to

start northern arkansas

and southern missouri have a very large

quartz deposit underneath

the whole area which lends

a little bit to its mystique in the

ozark mountains

we went specifically to ron coleman’s

mind and

had a good tour and learned about how

they mined the courts and things like

that got to drive around

the place but then they allow you to go

mine

or sift through all the stuff that they

bring out of the mine and kind of dump

in a pile

uh to the side um so while they

definitely collect all of the really big

uh

very nice clean pure clear quartz

uh for sale to collectors and things

like that they

definitely leave a lot of the more milky

quartz golden court things like that in

the ground

so we were able to go with the kids and

really enjoy ourselves for a bit

scraping through the the red earth and

finding a lot of different pieces large

small

and in between very cool

uh yeah i gave david some

um stuff that i founded ron coleman’s

brothers uh jimmy coleman’s mind

when i went down there i think it was

last year

and um gave him a bigger piece to have

camp out here and a bunch of smaller

pieces that i wouldn’t do anything with

and um well

what are you going to do with some of

this course uh and then then

that’ll tie into like with the the the

work you’re doing with it

so this is what i call a orgonite-ish

resonance art it’s in the theory of

orgonite

which is essentially a construct that

harnesses

the orgone energy of the environment

the orgone energy of the environment is

what the chinese and asian people refer

to as

ki or ki uh the star wars group refers

to it as the force

native american culture refers to it as

the great spirit

people call it god creation all kinds of

things but there is

something more to this blank space that

we are all

in and i believe that

it’s not just a belief the the science

that i’ve been learning

in this 21st century really has started

to back up the concept that everything

is wave form

even the most solid of objects is still

molecular structures vibrating against

each other at a certain rate of speed

and the interesting thing about that is

that it becomes solid like it’s not the

cup

in our hands but at the same time

if you had the electron microscope you

could just see straight through this

there’s so many different aspects of

this people can connect on the energetic

level of this

that people can connect on the

scientific level or do you even just see

this

aesthetic level you know how how it

locked down in the science level

all this is uh the geologist crowd as

well and

how everything’s molecularly formed

under and how it

their theories on how it formed over

eons or less than that

what kind of material and conditions

we’re around to

form this type of thing and that and

then you get the energetic people who

are

kind of like sensitive to energy um one

really

easy example for people to who aren’t

even energetically sensitive

if you hear these big crystal caverns

like in mexico right

where you have to have these special

suits because you can only be in there

so long

it’s because people like start um

sweating or i forget what exactly

happens but

well maybe maybe i’m getting that wrong

but i thought there were certain

precautions around this so

if you just put so much in one’s face

it’s probably going to be a little bit

more obvious to

people just like some people can notice

um certain crystals and not other ones

a lot of people some people talk about

mole divide as an easier one to notice

energetically and whatnot aesthetic i

mean like

jewelry has been made out of these type

of things and

pieces like david’s work here i mean

just just because they look nice you

know they look pleasing

and uh yeah so jewelry if you want to be

down there for more than half an hour

i mean the radio frequency transmitted

through that might have something

to do with it could be that would be

something good to look at and of course

all of our electronic devices have tiny

quartz crystals in them as well

the neat part about it is that right now

we’re discovering how some

people are more sensitive to various

electromagnetic frequencies and

waveforms

and the uh all of this is very

specific to the individual so don’t

dismiss it because you don’t feel it

other people may feel it ten times more

than you could ever imagine and it’s

very painful

i think that we can create a

uh new realm of technology applications

that mitigate the emf

field and not just the stuff that they

are making right now which are

which there’s a whole lot of cool

technology but i’m talking about just

adapting

the things that we have for instance the

emf radiation

from the cell phones that we carry it

while they continually try to reduce

this because they

do acknowledge now that this it can be

harmful to some people’s health

i think that it’s an idea like let’s

integrate black tourmaline in the

chipset

and right now we just have that silicone

board

that everything gets wired too but what

if we lace it with black tourmaline

with the with the industrial

capabilities on the planet we can

take the dust of these things which

vibrates in the same harmonic resonance

as a baseball side

chunk we can integrate the dust of these

minerals

throughout the equipment and perhaps

that would kind of

uh reduce the weight the the size of the

wave system some of these

emf emissions are more in square waves

um

thank you that’s the right word and then

this helps um i guess

round it off a little bit yes

yes yes i’m not 100 sure on that or how

that works you know even just regular

technology

instead of wi-fi instead of radio waves

they’re using light waves

i don’t know if they’re infrared or what

it’s not a really popular technology but

i think it’s

it exists but yeah broadcast

i know that they have made great

advances in light

technology uh as far as how they

perceive

the spectrum how they uh are utilizing

the whole spectrum

and so it would not surprise me if they

were transmitting data

in light package okay so these are all

the large pieces

that i pulled out of the ground this is

the point in the video where

dogs started barking very loudly and

airplanes flying over and due to the

zoom

settings we use the audio for this

portion is pretty much unusable

hey while we’re talking about the

crystals specifically let’s move over to

the

other table and look at all the small

pieces

okay so all of this little stuff is the

things that we pulled out of the ground

from ron coleman’s

except for the things that are not

courts obviously these are some of the

better pieces that i

actually pulled out of the ground right

down here

this is got a uh very fun little

point on it growing out there super

clear

point right there too i really

appreciate

this teeny tiny little outcropping there

i look at that i can zoom

yeah so it’s so fun

we got the jersey courts out of the

ground uh we were walking in the woods

around bonterre missouri i tend to think

that

uh nature kind of has it displayed for

me

sometimes because the jeep trail that we

were walking down

obviously people have been driving down

it for the entire hunting season

this year and nobody saw the big swath

of crazy quartz in the middle

or at least they don’t care about it

piece of organite like creation

so you asked what i’m gonna do with

these things uh

all of the the quartz is over here and

then i

shopped in the ron coleman uh rock shop

that they have there

this is blue calcite it’s one of the

neatest pieces

that i’ve seen so blue calcite red

calcite

this is rose quartz this is

yellow calcite or golden calcite over

here this is all amazonite

labradorite black tourmaline

this is sodalite and uh what i love

about

sodalite is it is this close to lapis

lazuli

it just uh does not have the same pyrite

composition

and what’s interesting about it is the

the density of the rock in order to

crush

is so much easier the sodalite is so

much easier to work with and to shape

than the lapis lazuli because i think it

is the

the iron pyrite content of the lapis

that makes it that much more dense

but i have uh tried to break both up and

the lapis just breaks the pieces like it

it hasn’t broken the hammer but it sure

wants to

so that’s a fun experiment just trying

to play with the dense

space and figure out the rock crushing

aspects

because all in all i do want to create

more pieces

like this and this is just a piece of

shungite cast

in red in epoxy resin but again the

piezoelectric qualities of this

what i like about the epoxy resin to

create

artworks is that while i am

experimenting with organized concepts uh

the layers of metal

and then crystal and metal and crystal

in order to

channel energy in a certain way to

produce a certain effect

perhaps i it acts as resonance artwork

even if it doesn’t

officially qualify as organized uh but

more importantly

the piezoelectric quality of everything

is really

why this works because because when the

epoxy resin dries

it goes in as a liquid and this is any

kind of resin

when it dries it squeezes so essentially

think of this rock emanating all of its

good

vibrations and things like that but then

having somebody squeeze it like a sponge

you know and

and really enhances that energetic

projection that’s kind of the

idea that i’m going for well right on

yeah it is uh

people talk about just crystals in

general um attracting energy

storing energy and then emitting energy

right um

yes it’s uh so what you know energy is

kind of like um yeah

that needs that term probably needs to

be broken down

Immigrant Buddhism | (11/24/2020 — “Ask Us Anything” With Denny K Miu)

For this month’s open-audience, open-discussion “Ask Us Anything” — continuing discussions about meditation and related topics — Denny and I sum up the themes of our last two conversations on Mahayana and Theravada while adding in the 3rd Buddhist Council. We then wrap-up the developmental history of Buddhism in China, South East Asia and Tibet.  Finally we move into the history of Zen Buddhism. From Denny’s notes (most of which is covered in this talk and/or previous talks):

  • Zen is Chán which is 禪, short for 禪那, or jhāna.
  • Zen was first brought to Japan in the Kamakura era (12th century) through Korea (which originally came through China in the 9th century).
  • Zen was welcomed by the samurai class, combining Zen, Confucianism and Shintoism and developing into Bushido, a code of honor and ideals, which eventually enabled the transfer of power away from the imperial aristocracy.
  • In 1187, Zen master Eisai returned to Japan from China and brought with him the Rinzai tradition.
  • In 1223, another Zen master Dōgen went to China, upon return he brought back the Soto tradition.
  • «Rinzai for the Shōgun, Sōtō for the peasants»
  • Rinzai is famous for the kōan  (a riddle to keep the mind in suspense)
  • Sōtō is famous for “Shikantaza” (Only Sitting).
  • Rinzai and Sōtō are two of the five schools formed by students of the sixth patriarch (Huineng, 638 ~ 713).
  • Shikantaza is much misunderstood.  In reality, Shikantaza is a shorthand for 默照 (Silent Illumination) which is the integration between shamatha (calming of the mind) and vipashyana (contemplation).

Hokyoji Zen Practice Community’s Zoom Rohatsu Sesshin (Retreat) 11/30/20 – 12/06/20

Rohatsu is Japanese for “eighth day of the twelfth month” when Japanese Zen Buddhists observe the enlightenment of the historical Buddha.

Below is a dharma talk from the Jewel Mirror Sesshin with Hokyoji Zen Practice Community I partially attended in August via Zoom.

Fortunately or unfortunately, or both, or neither, Zoom retreats are part of meditation practice for folks at this time. From November 30th to December 6th the hokyoji Zen Practice Community’s Zoom Rohatsu Sesshin (Retreat) focuses on the immeasurable/sublime abiding/Brahma Vihara/divine abode of Upekkha or Equanimity. Retreat details and registration link below:

Equanimity; Finding Our Way Home
In the awakened mind two of the most important aspects are:
Mindfulness and Equanimity

Please join the Hokyoji Zen Practice Community for the deeply silent and beautiful Rohatsu Sesshin. At Hokyoji we have been studying the practices of the Divine Abodes (Brahma Viharas) for a year. These four abodes of: Metta/Boundless Friendliness; Karuna/Compassion; Mudita/ Sympathetic Joy; Upekkha/ Equanimity, help us to cultivate the powerful and gentle reference points for zazen itself, and for the activities in each day of our lives. Right now, the life within us and around us is particularly fraught with disturbance, loss, and uncertainty. Equanimity, the crown of the Brahma Viharas, is the theme for Rohatsu. Equanimity is a dynamic, demanding practice rooted in the nondual teachings of Zen. It’s blessings are peace, nimbleness, responsiveness and capacity.

This online retreat will begin Monday, November 30th at 7:00pm and continue through Sunday, December 6th at noon. Event leaders will reside at Hokyoji in accord with pandemic guidelines. Participants will participate online via Zoom and have the option to participate as much or as little as desired. We ask that all participants attend the orientation session on Monday evening. Once you register, you will be sent a Zoom link.

A normal Hokyoji in-person retreat would be listed at $510 for 6 nights, with Hokyoji members receiving a 20% discount: $480 for 6 nights. However, as this year is a online retreat, Rohatsu 2020 will be based on dana (generosity). Please pay what you think is appropriate for your participation, or just pay what you can, be it a smaller or possibly a larger amount. No one will be turned away. Please REGISTER HERE

On the topic of equanimity, a few equanimity cultivation phrases:

May I learn to see the arising in passing of all things with equanimity and balance — Jack Kornfield

May I embrace change with stillness and calm. May I deeply except this moment as it is. — Christina Feldman

May I accept and open to how it is right now because this is how it is right now. — Carmella Masters

A write up by Caroline Jones and Paul Burrows on how the Brahma Viharas connect, interrelate, balance and counterbalance each other (as a whole):

The Four Sublime Abidings

Metta, [kindness] the love that connects, is an antidote to all forms of aversion.

It is not attachment.

If it slides into sentimentality, karuna [compassion] brings the heart back into balance.

Karuna, the love that responds, is an antidote to cruelty.
It is not pity.

If it slides into sorrow, mudita [appreciative joy] brings the heart back into balance.

Mudita, the love that celebrates, is an antidote to envy.
It is not competitive.

If it slides into agitated excitement, upekkha [equanimity] brings the heart back into balance.

Upekkha, the love that allows, is the antidote to partiality.
It is not indifference.

If it slides into disconnection, metta brings the heart back into balance.

Lek Lai

15 Lek Lai videos

Lek Lai, a Sacred Kaya Siddhi Adamantine substance is the subject of legendary tales of miracle powers. One translation for Lek Laï may be “steel eel”, an allusion to the ability of certain Lek Laï to assume a liquid state. Some tales tell of Lek Laï not as a simple mineral, but a kind of metal-animal capable of “swimming across mountains”.

I learned of Lek Lai on a podcast. I cannot really comment as I have not encountered Lek Lai other than being mindful of spiritual materialism and at the same time investigating how the so-called spiritual is not separate from the physical. While I include links and a playlist of videos above, I am not responsible for what does, or does not happen when studying Lek Lai and/or acquiring Lek Lai so please employ discretion and discernment if and when doing so.

(My) art for (“alternative”) zen (school) students from “The Gateless Gate”

The words in this “art” are a mishmash of mostly these two translations of “Nansen Cuts the Cat in Two” from The Gateless Gate:

The Gateless Gate by Ekai, called Mumon [PDF from consciouslivingfoundation.org]

Nansen Cuts the Cat in Two

Nansen saw the monks of the eastern and western halls fighting over a cat. He seized the cat and told the monks: ‘If any of you say a good word, you can save the cat.’

No one answered. So Nansen boldly cut the cat in two pieces.

That evening Joshu returned, and Nansen told him about this. Joshu removed his sandals and, placing them on his head, walked out.

Nansen said: ‘If you had been there, you could have saved the cat.’

Mumon’s Comment: Why did Joshu put his sandals on his head? If anyone answers this question, he will understand exactly how Nansen enforced the edict. If not, he should watch his own head.

Had Joshu been there,

He would have enforced the edict oppositely.

Joshu snatches the sword

And Nansen begs for his life.

From THE GATELESS GATE Translated by Eiichi Shimomissé 1998:

NANSEN CUTS THE CAT IN TWO

Nansen saw the monks of the eastern and western halls fighting over a baby cat. He seized the cat and said, “If (any of) you can say (a word of Zen), you can spare the cat. Otherwise I will kill it.” No one could answer. So Nansen cut the cat in two .

That evening Joshu returned and Nansen told him what had happened. Joshu thereupon took off his sandals and, placing them on his head, walked away. Nansen said, “If only you had been there, you could have saved the cat.”

Mumon’s Comment:

Why did Joshu put his sandals on his head? If you can answer this question with one word, you understand Nansen’s efforts. If not, you are utterly in danger.

Had Joshu been there,

The opposite would have been done.

Joshu would have snatched the knife,

And Nansen would have begged for his life.

“Personal” Photography Musings

Given today is the general election for President of the USA perhaps it seems fitting to post about “personal” images. Because unless you’ve actually sat down face-to-face beside the candidates, all anyone voting has to go on are video images and (spoken) words. (And the rare discussion with those who’ve actually met the candidates.)

An electronic visual depiction of a human being is only a very tiny semblance of a rendition of who and what that individual is. But in this day and age where information gluttony is status quo, “image is everything,” especially in America. A vapid statement indeed. Especially given so many hold one another’s images anywhere in the range of high regard and affection, all the way down to utter contention and resentment, mostly unconsciously, not realizing even that in real life — away from all the screen time, and even combined with all the screen time — our sight, eyes, vision, images, eyesight, seeing, looking and visual consciousness is but a mere sliver of our current and potential experience and reality.

While professional photography for one’s (individual) website is commonplace today, that doesn’t make the process any less challenging.

It is all about how to depict and represent oneself authentically while bucking the mainstream staged photography aesthetic of appearing self-absorbed, egotistical, attention seeking, and feeding the hungry ghost of fame and celebrity solely for the sake of fame and celebrity. But not going to the other extreme either — the extreme of jadedness, disinterest, too-cool-for-school, and instilling any other mindsets detracting from authenticity. The aim is to transcend these two extremes while conveying a look and feel to accompany and complement the intent and purpose of the published location of the images.

Ideally, these types of pictures will also accurately convey an encapsulation of the culmination of one’s life experience and state of being at that unique moment in time and specific place. All without any kind of typecasting. Without defining, freezing in, and locking down any kind of personal identity while allowing plenty of mindspace to grow, evolve and expand into one’s next highest version.

Sometimes an image is so captivating one forgets the elements of mind, intent, attitude, and consciousness of the photographer, subject, and even the viewer in forging the visual experience. On one hand it can be wondrous, moving, inspiring and beautiful. On the other hand spellbinding with deep subconscious influences.

Another polarity in photography is stealing a bit of one’s soul versus revealing what needs to be seen.

“While the white man sits on his fat can
And takes pictures of the Navajo
Every time he clicks his Kodak pics
He steals a little bit of soul”

Some say one’s image can allow those with certain psychic abilities to heal, harm or otherwise affect or influence the subject. At the least, a picture can definitely form a mental impression in the viewer. How much difference this makes varies vastly and is dependent on myriad conditions.

On the other end of this spectrum photographs can coax out often hidden aspects, traits, demeanors, and comportments hitherto unbeknownst allowing one to “be seen” on deeper, more expansive levels and dimensions. There are those who need to be heard to be seen. And those who need to be seen to be heard.

Behold the butt chin, caved temples, jelly jowls and an Adams apple for a neck. And be sure to blink a few times to make sure you’re not viewing a corpse. I can kind of see now some of the reasoning why I was playfully told a long time ago, “I’ll break your face.” Or maybe just call such a semblance uniquely and distinctly chiseled. Whatever. It’s a bit of a shock sometimes to see what we look like on camera (as well as how our recorded voice sounds.)

I can’t sing enough praise about the color, lighting, background and composition though. Big ups and much love to Brannon Rehm, the operator behind the lens at Meramec Highlands Quarry aka Quarry Park aka Dee Koestering Park; a place where I wonder WTF went on there in an old twitter thread below:

(Mostly minute & unanswerable) questions about Meramec Highlands Quarry aka Quarry Park aka Dee Koestering Park https://goo.gl/maps/7sVdztNgKrLTNPzv7

Why the interest in this Meramec blue limestone over other limestone in the area?

Why stack huge stones on top of each other in the woods?

Some are at strange angles. Others look like they have tumbled down. Did they tumble? If so, how? If not, why and how were they placed the way they were? How (and why) did each stone get to its (current) position?

Why don’t the little stones propping up the bigger stones crush?

Is there evidence of these stones being sawed? If so is it reproducible? How long would it have taken to cut all these?

Why was the site abandoned?

What’s underneath the big stones?

What are all the kinds of fossils in the rock? Have these been studied and recorded?

How was this particular Meramec blue limestone formed and why at this location?

How were the massive table top portions of stone extracted from the sides of the hill? Why were certain areas of the (bed)rock cut into diagonally while other rock areas close by appear not cut into?

Why do some stone slabs have mini drill holes close together while others don’t seem to?

Why is one section of rocks spaced apart in 2 to 3 major piles?

Who all has inhabited & owned this land over time? What groups & companies were involved and their histories & backgrounds?

Is all the stone accounted for, as in do quarry records say how much stone was extracted; who bought it; where it went (& is it still there now); and how much stone was left unsold or unsellable?

[While taking notes at site iPhone froze & needed hard reset: power + home buttons]

American Buddhism | (10/27/2020 — “Ask Us Anything” With Denny K Miu)

For this month’s open-audience, open-discussion “Ask Us Anything” — continuing discussions about meditation and related topics — Denny and I expand from last month’s chat on “Hīnayāna” as a superlative and more on Theravada and Mahayana in general. We also get into:

On one occasion the Blessed One was staying near Savatthi, in Jeta’s Grove, Anathapindika‘s monastery. Then Rohitassa, the son of a deva, in the far extreme of the night, his extreme radiance lighting up the entirety of Jeta’s Grove, went to the Blessed One. On arrival, having bowed down to the Blessed One, he stood to one side. As he was standing there he said to the Blessed One: “Is it possible, lord, by traveling, to know or see or reach a far end of the cosmos where one does not take birth, age, die, pass away or reappear?”

“I tell you, friend, that it is not possible by traveling to know or see or reach a far end of the cosmos where one does not take birth, age, die, pass away, or reappear.”

“It is amazing, lord, and awesome, how well that has been said by the Blessed One: ‘I tell you, friend, that it is not possible by traveling to know or see or reach a far end of the cosmos where one does not take birth, age, die, pass away, or reappear.’ Once I was a seer named Rohitassa, a student of Bhoja, a powerful sky-walker. My speed was as fast as that of a strong archer — well-trained, a practiced hand, a practiced sharp-shooter — shooting a light arrow across the shadow of a palm tree. My stride stretched as far as the east sea is from the west. To me, endowed with such speed, such a stride, there came the desire: ‘I will go traveling to the end of the cosmos.’ I — with a one-hundred year life, a one-hundred year span — spent one hundred years traveling — apart from the time spent on eating, drinking, chewing & tasting, urinating & defecating, and sleeping to fight off weariness — but without reaching the end of the cosmos I died along the way. So it is amazing, lord, and awesome, how well that has been said by the Blessed One: ‘I tell you, friend, that it is not possible by traveling to know or see or reach a far end of the cosmos where one does not take birth, age, die, pass away, or reappear.'”

[When this was said, the Blessed One responded:] “I tell you, friend, that it is not possible by traveling to know or see or reach a far end of the cosmos where one does not take birth, age, die, pass away, or reappear. But at the same time, I tell you that there is no making an end of suffering & stress without reaching the end of the cosmos. Yet it is just within this fathom-long body, with its perception & intellect, that I declare that there is the cosmos, the origination of the cosmos, the cessation of the cosmos, and the path of practice leading to the cessation of the cosmos.” It’s not to be reached by traveling, the end of the cosmos — regardless. And it’s not without reaching the end of the cosmos that there is release from suffering & stress. So, truly, the wise one, an expert with regard to the cosmos, a knower of the end of the cosmos, having fulfilled the holy life, calmed, knowing the cosmos’ end, doesn’t long for this cosmos or for any other.

January 12, 2024 UPDATE: Some new images

November 30, 2023 UPDATE:

[12/12/2021 UPDATE: Below the (next) triple line separators there’s a “new” reconstructed and edited version hobbled and pieced together from many sources. (Find the older version archived here.) Challenges encountered: some of the sources just provided broken/missing images. Others sources were referenced to paste in missing sections from more complete sources. Still others provide “new” images from elsewhere to ideally better accompany some of the text.

With such a kaleidoscopic, piecemeal endeavor such as this I keep intact numerous redundancies, repetitions and repeats for reference sake and learning purposes.

Much respect to archivists, researchers and editors as this took me many hours. I feel I owe it to the readership here though as this continues to be the most popular blog post. I often used reverse image search to get a high quality version of images when possible. I also use brackets and italics for editing notes throughout.

To put it kindly, working with this subject matter in this way seems to have unique effects/affects so please share any error corrections and/or suggestions in the comments, or contact me directly.

I claim zero credit for any of this. Please visit and support the original sources.]

The so-called “flower of life” appears on various merchandise at new age, crystal and metaphysical shop quite prevalently. Imagine the surprise then when encountering the following contradictory information in this blog post.

I don’t feel qualified, nor moved to comment at this point.

Question all you hear, read and see here. It is up to you to do your own research and investigation with this information. Please only take what’s useful of this information for your journey and investigation. Ultimately — like with just about anything else — what is mentioned here is not to be taken as ultimate truth to be clung to.

[Update 1/22/2021 (further amplification of non-commenting:)

Symbols and sigils seem quite powerful on various levels, involved in nearly every major business and a lot of magical practices. A major realization coming from the follow questions is that without a high level of awareness — along with an absence of intense study and testing — being able to confidently comment on a symbol or sigil does not seem wise (for me) and is potentially further compounded by subjectivity and whomever may be the recipient readers:

  • What does a symbol and/or sigil represent and contain energetically; in relation to consciousness; in regards to life (force); and what is the intent?
  • What is the origination and who/what was involved therein?
  • Why are they so prevalent and ubiquitous?
  • What are any (and all) modifications from the original symbol/sigil (if an original is possible) and what effects do modifications have?
  • What kind of maintenance is required and/or preformed?
  • What amount of knowing the aforementioned is possible?
  • Can similar, or greater effectiveness come from ways and means either approximating symbols/sigils, or vastly different from them, or somewhere in between?]

From the transcript of “Ascension Mechanics — Project Camelot interviews Ashayana Deane Parts 1 – 3″:

A: . . . So anyway, this is what our solar system looks like up here, this artificial it’s like a wobbling orbit. It’s not just our planet that wobbles. We, there’s actually a wobble created in the solar plane itself, it’s actually taken the solar plane, where it doesn’t sit flat in the galactic plane anymore. I think it’s around a 45 degree tilt to the, you know to the galactic plane. And it also created this thing here that threw the core and especially in the closer to the core planets like earth and the sun, it has harnessed how fast things spin, which means its harnessed the time pulse, so it could – through this device, they have been able to progressively get control over how fast things spin so they can synchronize the spins of things over here with the things that they’re trying to merge them with on the parallel side. It’s a bizarre and fascinating and horrifically morbid technology this death star technology.

Now, what that creates on a planetary level, when we look at our poor little earth sitting in the middle of this, and its not just that this has happened on the solar level, they’ve also put the same type of mechanisms in the planetary core and in the star gate systems here, to create the same effect to plug our planet into that whole system. They’ve done it on the other planets too, the ones that don’t have, anything that has its axis that’s not tilted the same as the sun, is either in its normal place and the sun got tilted, which is part of the case here, or its not in its right place, cause they should all be sitting on a natural, you know vertical and horizontal plane with each other.

This is what we have right now and like the science tells us this is normal and this is natural, you know, well our planets’ tilted about 23.5 degrees, and it does this cycle called the procession of the equinoxes, and you know

K: Right

A: we’ve got the ecliptic shield you know, that cuts through, you know the sun shield is here and ours you know comes here. This is totally twisted, this, our our our planet is tilted it’s it this messes up its entire system. Its not just tilted. When, this one here shows at least a relatively normal looking Kathara grid inside, there’s a whole set of un – unsacred? Not sacred geometries that go with the death star Merkaba stuff. It has to do with the shapes of the flows. Where before we had the, I talked about those ah the arms that you know… petals that stood out like this and they’re 45 degree angles and they phase and spark and generate quantum, right? There’s another on that has them pulled down like this, where they look much more like a flower. We call it the daisy of death, or the bloom of doom, but they’re phase locked, where they can’t phase and that means they can’t generate quantum. It means it’s a planet that is dying because it can’t breathe. And that’s one of the things and it constricts the Kathara grid at the center. It (____ ?) something. I think we have one that shows that. What that also does, is create a bulge at the equator, where it squashes the natural spherical shape down. Hello to earth.

K: Is there also ah, is there also a correlation with the cross. In other words, the actual symbol of the cross reflecting what is in essence this frozen inability to generate, yeah

A: yes, yes and and even more. That has to do with the mutation of natural Shalaya light units, into, forcing them into the vesica piscis dead light unit configurations, the sign of the cross

K: Interesting, yeah

A: The original cross has the perfectly equal, and it’s called the (Rueshay?), and it has perfectly equal. I think the Celtic cross is the closest you get these days as far as symbology.

K: and it fits inside a circle

A: Yeah

K: in other words, cause then you know it’s

A: Yeah I don’t have mine on, anyone have one on? Its one of our sacred symbols.

So, this is right now we have, this is all part, part of the mechanics of the ah death star Merkaba…ah technologies, we have the un natural procession of the equinoxes, this is called the sexton shield. It’s actually the, it’s a distortion shield of energy that keeps those vortices spinning at their you know tilted angle. It keeps us aligned with, we we flip between being aligned with Polaris, which we are in that phase now, and flipping back ah into alignment with Vega. And we just keep cycling back and forth and we’re all going back and forth in the procession of the equinoxes, and they’re not normal. There, they just released in, when was Ireland, November last year? They just released, October? Yeah, They just released some fascinating things about the old pagan rights and stuff and what, what this actually has done in its relationship with parallel earth, this was done for a reason and the cycles of the equinoxes and the solstices have to do with alignments between parallel earth and here and between parallel earth and the center of the milky way galaxy, the black hole there and that’s what were looking at coming up on in 2012, and that’s why 2012 was you know the Mayans got the word it was going to be the end of times and those kind of thing because of the dark road. Yeah the dark road alright.

So, these things, these configurations that we’re seeing, the sexton shield is not the natural clock or or shield that…that the natural spin ration that you would have for the planet on its axis. They actually have been accelerating time for the last thirteen thousand years, to make it faster so it would catch up with the ah parallel anti particle universe so they could merge them. And it means our days have gotten shorter, our spin has gotten faster, as far as on the planet and that kind of thing.

There’s other aspects to this that are created by this technology and all of these go together, right? Like when you see one it implies the others.

This is our poison apple. This is the net field, ok? Now part of the poison apple isn’t shown here, ill show that on this one, but um this is literally a containment net. It is ah (Ashona?) which means that made up by Vecka units instead of light units. A containment harness and this is what the um the death star Merkaba actually creates around a planet a system or a body. When you work those Merkaba mechanics, this is what you’re creating, its a torsion field that turn… constantly circles energy in on itself, but it does not have a connection to anything outside of itself, except of what it can feed off at its center, from its core.

And this is, there are there are three levels of this that actually move in earths atmosphere, and they literally control, one of them runs through like the magnetosphere area and actually there’s three others down from that so there’s really four, four major layers of this. It controls, it reminds me of that old thing, we control the vertical, we control the horizontal remember that show that used to say that? I think outer limits or something used to say that on TV? Well its kind of like, yeah, they they pretty much do, all of these net systems are plugged into things like the HAARP machine and ah, I’m sure the hadron collider has something to do with activating all of these too. I heard that they just had their first good test yesterday or something? Yeah? This week? Good timing, why not.

Unknown: Full activation..

A: Full activation, yeah. So these net fields are responsible for literally wiping out the DNA. Science has already figured out that DNA is sensitive to a couple of things. It’s sensitive to radiation, it could destroy DNA. It’s sensitive to magnetism, electromagnetism. You mess with the magnetic fields, you mess with the DNA. That, just like its blocking the natural currents and flows that would normally come into the planet, it does the same thing to the biology’s on this planet. This is why we have no memory. It’s wiped it right out of the DNA. It’s actually still in there, it’s in junk DNA, it’s in pieces, that’s what were working with the technologies that the guardians give to re-assemble.

K: I see

A: and it does it to controlling the epigenetic overlay. Which is the chemical sheath that science is just learning, actually triggers, what how genes will behave in the DNA, alright? So it’s the culmination of both. But this is why we have no memory of our race memory or any of that. And this is what is holding the mutation in the body. Right now our own bio fields and the biofields of the life forms on the planet carry all of these same mutations. We carry these, we carry the wobbling vortices, we carry the phase locked, you know bloom of doom – in their flows in and of that and if we are gonna ever get out of here, while we have time left with the gates are open. It’s amazing the gates are even open or even still usable after all of this, but we need to reverse mutate our bodies, and we have been working for ten years with that.

We’ve worked through the light body layers we worked through the spirit body layers now were into something called the (AhGee?) body layers that they’re kind of, the AhGee body is interesting its ah ah a combination between the the spirit body and the light body and the atomic body, that once you master that, it allows you to actually do the transfiguration and turn into light. The the first stage of that is called glide – where you’ll learn to bi-locate, where you put yourself into orb and you go elsewhere and bi-locate and then come back. But you still have, leave a body here. The second stage, is what we’re working on now, is um called translocation where you get to the point where you can do a certain level of transfiguration of a certain quantum of your atoms into light temporarily so you can go visit elsewhere and take your body with you but you’ll still be keyed to the space time imprint or encryption of this planet until a certain other thing happens, right?

Addressing and Working with Pain On and Off the Cushion

Fortunately, as of now, I haven’t had to work with physical pain much. I’m currently dealing more with blockages, which may or may not be blocking pain. It’s hard to tell until unblocked.

For several years, until my grandmother’s passing, she dealt with osteoporosis and the pain of her bones disintegrating with Fentanyl, a very strong pain killer.

It also seems a huge portion of pain is psychological, and other than merely physical pain, often going unaddressed.

A few folks have asked about how to address and work with pain both during meditation and in daily life. If pain is a persistent challenge please listen to these in-depth talks and meditations for pain; check out The Challenge of Pain by Bhikkhu Anālayo [pdf] and the translated talks Feeling of Pain and Investigating Pain by Venerable Acariya Maha Boowa Ñanasampanno

The following is a quick partial summary of points for investigating, perceiving and working with pain:

  • What is the attitude towards pain?
  • What is the default perception and response for pain?
  • What is the relationship with pain?
  • If the pain is gripping pretty much the entire experience, how might changing how might changing one’s relationship to and with the pain be of benefit?
  • Visualizing pain to change relationship to it
  • Pain is weakness leaving the body
  • Can you turn pain into a gift/opportunity/teacher?
  • Can pain be met with compassion instead of aversion?
  • Feel it to heal it
  • Feel into the pain in an ever-relaxing way
  • Soften around pain
  • Simply move the body slightly if being distracted from meditating
  • Recollection of sīla
  • It is like this now due to conditions and for a lawful reason. There no requirement to feel any certain way about pain
  • It is OK to be in pain; one is not less then or a failure for experiencing pain
  • Some say pain is trapped energy
  • What do I need (right now)?
  • Pain is not what we think it is
  • Name it to claim it. Label the pain to lessen its power. What kind of pain? Burning, throbbing, stinging, pulsing, stabbing?
  • What is the intensity level (on a scale of 1-10)?
  • How long does it last (at currently labeled intensity level)?
  • Zoom way in to see how pain is changing
  • Find/track its edges/boarders. Do these edges/boarders move?
  • Who’s (changing) pain is this?
  • This pain is not me, mine, nor am I made of it
  • Zoom way out and to see how it affects other areas of body and areas of life beyond the body and how other phenomena effect the pain
  • Breath into/out of the pain
  • “How can I serve you pain?” It is almost impossible to be in conflict while serving
  • Find pleasure or neutral places (within the pain and/or other body areas) and keep attention there. Then sweep back to pain to invite it to those pleasant and neutral areas and go back to the pleasurable or neutral places for awhile before repeating.
  • For enduring being with pain, learn to discern between merely reacting to unpleasant sensations from those sensations warning of potential bodily harm

At one time Venerable Anuruddha was staying near Sāvatthī in the Dark Forest. And he was sick, suffering, gravely ill. Then several mendicants went up to Venerable Anuruddha, and said to him:

“What meditation does Venerable Anuruddha practice so that physical pain doesn’t occupy his mind?”

“Reverends, I meditate with my mind firmly established in the four kinds of mindfulness meditation so that physical pain doesn’t occupy my mind. What four? I meditate observing an aspect of the body … feelings … mind … principles—keen, aware, and mindful, rid of desire and aversion for the world. I meditate with my mind firmly established in these four kinds of mindfulness meditation so that physical pain doesn’t occupy my mind.”
